109 - Colour mood meaning

I experimented with doing the same set of drawings again, with the same colours. It's interesting how the semi-random nature of the inks in water created a different feel in each image. It's not a perfect comparison in the pair, because one image is photographed in bright sunlight and appears brighter.

Also interesting to see how the proportions are not precise in each drawing, but the whole figure hangs together.

This is a new pose in the same colours which was not a part of the first set. There's a bit of sunlight on the cast across the picture, which is a snapshot done in the garden.

Macmillan Cancer Support

This year I challenged myself to write one blog post per day, for 365 days. The project began on 3 March 2025.

I have linked this challenge to a charity fundraiser, because I want to look outside as well as inwards and contribute to society. It also holds me accountable and adds motivation to write everyday.

Macmillan is an organistation that offers powerful help to anyone (in the UK) who has been affected by cancer.
