Your ShimmyShim-designed-order is manufactured and sent to you by Contrado.co.uk

ShimmyShim works with Contrado Imaging Ltd who make, print and ship the products with ShimmyShim designs and send them directly to you from their warehouse in London UK.

Your PayPal or Bank Transfer payment will reach my account the fastest (and may be immediate).
Other payment methods may (in some cases) take up to a few days before they clear into my business account from the Shopify eCommerce platform.

AFTER your payment to ShimmyShim has completed, an order to make and print your items will go through to Contrado and they will start the make process after a short holding period of no less than 30 minutes. 

The speed at this point depends on the production queue at Contrado, and the type of product you have ordered. Thanks to their one-stop production facility, they dispatch many products within 24 hours of receiving the order. 

ShimmyShim works closely with Contrado to support you with any shipping customer service enquiries.

Delivery and service

Most Products Made And Delivered In 2 - 3 Days

Contrado's focus is on product quality, great service and speedy delivery. 

Thanks to Contrado’s own one-stop production facility, they dispatch many products within 24 hours of receiving the order. All the production staff and production capabilities are in the same building, ensuring each product is printed and manufactured to the highest standards. Production times vary according to each product. Shipping time is in addition to production time. Contrado does not count weekends or public holidays as production days.

UK Delivery

Your order will be shipped using a Tracked Royal Mail service. Royal Mail delivers 94% of orders the next day but occasionally it may take 2-5 days, and in rare cases up to 15 working days. Contrado’s delivery days include Saturdays, but not Sundays.

If they dispatch after 6pm, parcels are usually picked up the morning after. At this point, unfortunately, no delivery address change can be made.

If your item is over 2kg, bulky, or large (over 60x40cm), Contrado use FedEx UK couriers. FedEx UK couriers deliver the next business day and are a part of Contrado’s standard service.

Customs Tax / Duty

Worldwide shipping includes customs duties paid for most countries except for Switzerland, Greece, Norway, Iceland, and Poland. 

If your order is to be delivered outside the UK, you may incur additional charges beyond our control. This could be non-reclaimable customs tax as well as administration fees. Contrado and ShimmyShim advise to check the specific customs or import duty policies for your delivery country.

Adverse Weather Conditions

When there are adverse weather conditions, deliveries to some parts of the country can be affected. To minimize delays Contrado work closely with both Royal Mail and FedEx. When your order is dispatched, we will inform you of which courier was used. Information and updates regarding delivery services can be found on Royal Mail and FedEx websites as well as local weather news.

In Case Of Royal Mail Strikes

In the case of Royal Mail strikes, Contrado is still able to deliver your items. If possible they will use another carrier. There may be a some delays but Contrado will do everything they can to ship your item as fast as possible in all circumstances.

International Fast Worldwide Shipping

Most international deliveries are with customers in 3 - 5 days. Delivery outside the EU may attract local tax duty to pay which is administered by the local territory and is out of the hands of Contrado.

There may need to be extra charges for remote or difficult to reach destinations.
