159 - Clone

159 - Clone

My dream came true! I woke up in the morning and my computer had cloned itself. There were just a couple of nerve wracking moments when it wouldn't accept a correct passcode and the mouse still won't work on the old computer (it floats in a perfectly straight line across the screen) but I can work again. Sweet relief!

Called on my brother's gadget knowledge for the low down on what speakers and screen to buy. The very affordable Dell screen I tried will have to go back. Cheap, looks nice, very lightweight, perfect for text, numbers and web browsing but not good enough for image work. A shock after the beautiful, clear iMac screen with millions of colours. I'm really going to miss that iMac!

The only challenge now is how to get the Dell screen back into the box.

Macmillan Cancer Support

This year I challenged myself to write one blog post per day, for 365 days. The project began on 3 March 2025.

I have linked this challenge to a charity fundraiser, because I want to look outside as well as inwards and contribute to society. It also holds me accountable and adds motivation to write everyday.

Macmillan is an organistation that offers powerful help to anyone (in the UK) who has been affected by cancer.
