160 - Stretch, Squeeze and Breathe

I've been racking my brains, trying to figure out how to optimise the space in my bungalow. The bed has to go.

I'm going to replace it with a cardboard, accordion style bed base, and a thinner mattress which is light enough to move easily and store in the cupboard.

This Vietnamese company has a nice post showing a variety of paper beds.

The two options available to buy in the UK are the stretchy accordion style. All you have to do is pull the end out. Just like one of those stretchy chinese paper dragon garlands.

I love the idea of being able to instantly compact the bed and have the whole floor space free.
