I met Dougie Wallace a couple of times when I was doing street photography. His name is pronounced DooGee. I just looked him up and his nickname is Glasweegee. It sounds like a car wash but that must be about Weegee (Arthur Fellig) the infamous New York crime scene photographer of the 1930s.
