The car boot sale wasn't that great. The novelty of seeing the manicured grounds from a distance had worn off a bit. I think I'd rather spend the day in the spruce grounds of Wilton House itself, than in the cow field next door. The cow pats were dry but still smelly and the rutted ground was covered with them. Hard to find a place for a picnic.
