178 - Letter To Heaven

On the way to the Mammoth Car Boot Sale, I noticed a white and gold postbox. It was installed at the funeral parlour. You can write a letter to a loved one and post it 'to heaven'.

A plastic laminated notice states:

"Your letters will be dealt with sensitively and will never be opened."

I wonder what they do with the letters? And I wonder if people ever vent by posting hate mail. People being people, they probably do.
