212 - YouTube Is In Two Minds

YouTube has multiple personalities. One of them is the Algorithm, and one of them is the AI Inspiration tool. They work in cahoots. 

Because I change tack a lot, it still thinks I'm making doll videos. I made those because I sell collectibles and I thought the videos might support the business. They are popular and occasionally (once) someone recognises me as the presenter.

I phased out the fixing up of dolls to make my retail business leaner and meaner. 

And because I wanted to avoid more admin (at all costs), I switched topics on the channel from vintage doll retail to fine art, rather than starting afresh with a new channel.

Next year I'm thinking of narrating some of this year's blog posts to invigorate the channel. But for now, it's in two minds.
