275 - Epergne

Today I discovered a thing called an 'epergne'. It's like the glass (or metal) equivalent of a fascinator hat.

The shape is often like a rococo fountain, with a spray of curlicues and frills splashing from a central frame. A dance of glass flutes, lifted by strong metal arms. 

I couldn't find a free picture of a glass one but here's a metal one and a screenshot of some eBay listings.
