279 - Crossing

I have a few thoughts I want to put into words just now, in relation to this picture but I seem to be too tired. The works keep jumbling. I'm trying to say something about the configuration of the street furniture and street traffic which influenced the success and failure of the pictures.

Crossing points like this were physically helpful. They sorted people into some kind of consistent order from the chaos.

Thinking of Martin Parr, who died today. One of the best known street photographers from the UK.
