289 - Christmas Jumper

289 - Christmas Jumper

I really love this Carlberg ad, especially the detail of the scene reflected in the mirrored visor. I came across it either before or during the creation of this Christmas In Space set of card designs.

It was conceived and directed by Lewis Plummer and Mark Rowbotham in their creative work as the Mostly Harmless Agency. Anyway, funnily enough last year, I worked with Lewis in the same office as Scrace Architects, at The Enterprise Centre in Salisbury. Lewis mentioned this ad and I was so surprised and delighted to come face-to-face with its creator! Lewis, in his mild mannered and gentle way does his best to crack the Medieval nut that is Smallsbury. He's kicked off a regular social event for creative freelancers and it's already a fixture in everyone's calendar.

Macmillan Cancer Support

This year I challenged myself to write one blog post per day, for 365 days. The project began on 3 March 2025.

I have linked this challenge to a charity fundraiser, because I want to look outside as well as inwards and contribute to society. It also holds me accountable and adds motivation to write everyday.

Macmillan is an organistation that offers powerful help to anyone (in the UK) who has been affected by cancer.
