292 - Some Of Them

Art opportunities listings remind me of the Eurythmics Sweet Dreams chorus:

Some of them want to use you
Some of them want to get used by you

I'm not surprised they've extended the submission deadline when they're charging 49 Euros to enter.

It often takes some time to figure out who's paying who. Having said that, it's safe to assume it's the artist that pays. If the artist gets paid, it seems to be max about £1,000 a month for a residency. Which wouldn't allow you to pay your bills at home while you were away, on top of your living expenses on the 'job' slash indulgence trip.

Macmillan Cancer Support

This year I challenged myself to write one blog post per day, for 365 days. The project began on 3 March 2025.
