The first stage of changing my bedroom into a studio, is selling my double bed, along with various other bits and large bobs. There is a hideous, tall, particle board shelving unit and there ten gliding drawers from my IKEA PAX wardrobe. The drawers will be replaced with shelves and fabric storage boxes as they are more hygienic.
I've also decided to sell my Hay DLM (Don't Leave Me) portable coffee table. I never liked the pale grey colour, and the handle feature is impractical. It looks cute, but in reality, how much do I need to carry a table around with one hand? The handle always gets in the way when you're arranging your plate and coffee cup. A smaller table works better.
I think if I had more space, I'd keep the Hay table. I'm fond of it. I suppose I could stick it up in the attic. I'm having trouble selling it for the price it would sell for in London (where more people are into designer labels) but I don't want to sell it for a low price like some kind of throwaway.

This is my favourite, well used replacement coffee table. It's only 25cm diameter and maybe it's a plant stand.
