I have put some together on a rather over-whelming Pinterest board.

Pattern, colour and figure all in one image is a challenging combination. To harmonise or achieve a meaningful discord? 

I don't know if there is a recognised art movement currently, of artists using a lot of pattern in their work but I can see a thread. It's called Maximalist in design but I don't know if that extends to the art world.

Macmillan Cancer Support
