I bought a gift card with a still image of Gudetama the 'Lazy Egg' character years ago. Now there is an animated series starring Gudetama and his naive chick friend Shakipiyo and it's genius on a level with Spirited Away!

The character was created in 2013 by Amy, the nom de plume of Emi Nagashima for Japanese Entertainment Company Sanrio.

It's both aesthetically beautiful and philosophically beautiful. What is life all about? What are we here for? Let's make life an adventure, even if we can never answer those questions.
