322 - Memory Police

I listened to an audio version of The Memory Police by Yōko Ogawa today. It was very beautiful and sad. Prescient.

Things on an island gradually disappear. Not individually, but collectively. Memories of them fade too. Their absence creates holes in reality. Eventually the fabric of reality is a dissolving web.
