343 - The Book of Jobs

I once did a bit of research work for my Dad. I can't remember the exact reason for it. Something to do with marketing.

I went to the Westminster Reference Library (located just behind the National Portrait Gallery in London) and searched through a special set of books which described all the jobs in the United Kingdom from A to Z.

Perhaps this: the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC90/SOC 2000) produced by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and the Careers and Occupational Information Centre (COIC)?

And each job has a code (now digitised).
