353 - Colour Acuity

You can test your colour perception using this online Pantone test of 40 different hues.

You have to rearrange the tiles along one strip so that the colours blend perfectly between the two fixed end squares of different hues (orange and green on the top row). In other words you put the second orangiest next to the orange square far left and the second greenest next to the green square far right. Then the third orangiest goes to the right of the second orangiest and so on.

I got a perfect score on this. Colour comes easy to me, but more than that it, is a thrill and a nourishment.

I'd love to have a go at the offline, 100 hue test, but it involves sticking your head in a special light control box which I'm sure is very expensive.

If you are colour blind you can get 'enchroma' glasses to correct it. I'm not sure if they work in every case, but I love watching people try them for the first time. People often cry. It's like their brain gets tickled to an unbearable point at first viewing.
