365 - What Is Interesting About That?

IKEA Tips, Hacks and More! is the seventh largest Facebook Group, with over 5.5 million members.
A year is a hack:
The number of days in a year, represents an imperfect, cosmic compromise between the time it takes for Earth to spin (a day) and to orbit the Sun (a year). It is not a clean, whole number, which forces humanity to use complex mathematical 'hacks' like leap years to keep our calendars from drifting out of sync with the seasons.
Like many people, I couldn't figure out how to get my (beautifully cheap and elegant), IKEA Schottis blinds to stay folded up. The clips provided kept popping off. But before I hacked at the problem, I discovered I was using them upside down. Also you need to bend the clips so that they curve lengthways.
They look so good. Total black out or light filtering for £4 a metre. The epitome of IKEA efficiency.
Anyway, the earth has rotated around the sun for 365 days now and I've published a blog post for each of those days.
I'm happy about it. It's fundamentally good to reach a target, to deliver consistently. It's like a structure. It feels like ground beneath your feet.
