38 - Colour palettes

Too tired to comment on this right now, as we spent 9 hours on the hoof today.

But some snapshot documentation in one of the lavish, free entry museums in Marseille.

I think it was a collection of Italian artefacts - Roman? With an exploration of how colours for paint and other surface decorations were produced.

The museum label asserted that the carbon black on the right, is a type of man made pigment, that has been in continuous use for 40,000 years.

Loved this black mirror.

I enjoyed this post, I love the combination of colour and Roman :)
