43 - Parts Per Million

The featured image on this post is a snapshot of a wall piece at the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations by Étienne Marc. In an exhibition called Méditerranées. Mixed materials on stainless steel. Apologies I'm not sure of the title.

And below is Personnages Sans Histoire by Théo Mercier.

I definitely interpreted this as a foot ^.

Our restaurant table at lunch. You drop your cone of frites into one of the holes and slosh mayonnaise over it.

It’s was fun picking up on a visual theme for the day. This is a statue, also at the MEMC - part of the same Méditerranées show, but I think from the museum permanent collection. They invite contemporary artists to respond to the works and mix old and new together. It makes for a very lively show.

Macmillan Cancer Support

This year I challenged myself to write one blog post per day, for 365 days. The project began on 3 March 2025.

I have linked this challenge to a charity fundraiser, because I want to look outside as well as inwards and contribute to society. It also holds me accountable and adds motivation to write everyday.

Macmillan is an organistation that offers powerful help to anyone (in the UK) who has been affected by cancer.
