56 - Drawing Tina

Joined an online session tonight featuring Tina @tin4.imagemaker a Buenos Aires, Argentina based art model and actress. She's one of my favourite models to draw - very angular and expressive.

The session was organised and hosted by Judith Yaws. Judith runs figure drawing all year round online using Zoom, from her home in North Carolina, USA.

As usual artists from all over the world attended. Here in the UK it started at 8pm but the guy in Oz had an earlier start. It tends to be practising artists rather than beginners so there's some nice work to see at the end if people feel like sharing.

Here's 3 of the 9 images produced. I think I'll apply the soft watercolour ground to these as a set (as shown in post 26 this year).

The pose durations where mixed and started at 5 minutes and ended with a 20 minute pose.

Macmillan Cancer Support

This year I challenged myself to write one blog post per day, for 365 days. The project began on 3 March 2025.

I have linked this challenge to a charity fundraiser, because I want to look outside as well as inwards and contribute to society. It also holds me accountable and adds motivation to write everyday.

Macmillan is an organistation that offers powerful help to anyone (in the UK) who has been affected by cancer.
