85 - Estelle Phillips launches new website

Back in March, I wrote blog post 18, about Estelle's podcast episode, which we collaborated on for her series Nature Talks With Humans. Since then Estelle has been busier than ever with her second year hosting the Bournemouth Community Poem at the Bournemouth Writing Festival, fresh episodes of the podcast released and forging ahead with editing the first draft of her full, novel-length, nature memoir.

Meantime she has launched a new website, www.estellephillipswriter.com and posted the beautiful, compelling photo you can see at the top of this page. Every time I come back to this image, I feel soothed and invigorated at the same time. A good combination.

Since we are friends in Wiltshire and both excited about each other's creative projects,  we 'big each other up' a bit and I was keen to share both the photography and the website as soon as I saw them. Keep it up Estelle!

Frankie this is absolutely lovely, thank you so much. I’ll pop it across my media in a few days, I just need to get my scheduled posts out of the way first. :) x

Macmillan Cancer Support

This year I challenged myself to write one blog post per day, for 365 days. The project began on 3 March 2025.

I have linked this challenge to a charity fundraiser, because I want to look outside as well as inwards and contribute to society. It also holds me accountable and adds motivation to write everyday.

Macmillan is an organistation that offers powerful help to anyone (in the UK) who has been affected by cancer.
