Balloon Installations - 1996 - 2000

Bombastic cartoon characters, constructed on site and made from latex balloons. To prevent the balloons bursting, they were glued together with a 'low temperature melting point' glue, using a glue gun and I would partially and fully inflate them with foot and hand pumps.

During the shows, they would deflate and wilt in an accelerated ageing process.

Balloons layered inside balloons created a corporeal effect.

The were around 1 to 2 meters in size.
